They have conducted research or provided support for school leadership and professional learning in over 30 districts across 15 states and have published 40+ articles on these topics in both scientific peer-reviewed as well as practitioner journals. Their article titled "Learning to Learn from Teaching: A Firsthand Account of Lesson Study in Japan" was named 2015 Outstanding Paper of the Year by Emerald Publishing and the World Association of Lesson Studies. Brad was also a recipient of the 2010 Best Research Award from the National Staff Development Council (now Learning Forward). He has served as principal investigator for multiple research projects focused on virtual assistance models for school leaders, collaborative teacher research, and STEM learning studios.
